Job Summary:

We are currently sourcing B2B interviewer to survey to work in our Managua office conducting telephone interviews/surveys with business executives and technical experts in North. As a research interviewer, there will be no sales, telemarketing or commission-based duties, but we are looking for someone who is able to collect and analyze statistical data in order to support our B2B clients during their decision making process regarding market opportunities, market segmentation, brand analysis and strategy . The successful Research Interviewer will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness.

Job Duties:

  • Develop list of contact for a specific research project according to screening criteria.
  • Contact businesses (B2B) by telephone and asks structured survey questions to executives and professionals on a variety of topics.
  • Contact households (B2C) by telephone asking structured survey questions and accurately recording the responses into a computer.
  • Analyze, Compile and Enrich Data from:
    • Consumer.
    • Competitors.
    • Market place.
  • Perform secondary research for:
    • Market Industries.
    • Local & International Businesses.
  • Schedule and follow up on appointments.
  • Support in administrative work to your peers, if necessary.
  • Transcribe interviews conducted from peers, if necessary.

Background required

Experience:

  • Highly professional written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
  • University degree or last year student of the following areas of study:
    • Business, marketing, statistics, English, psychology, or engineering preferred
  • Some business experience and acumen.
  • Preferred – 1 year prior experience in any of the following: Market Research, Sales, Customer Service, Client Relations, and Human Resource.

Skills:

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking B2B recruiters/data collection specialists to work in our Managua office recruiting business executives and technical experts to participate in market research studies. As a research recruiter, there will be no sales or telemarketing duties, but we are looking for someone who has strong English or other third language speaking fluency and it is able to build their own list of contacts for each study.  Most studies will be focused on the USA market, but many are global and fluency in languages other than English or Spanish is also welcome.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing b2b and b2c market research projects spanning the following categories:

  • Secondary data and industry analyses

  • Brand perception and awareness
  • Brand architecture, equity, and identity
  • New product or concept development research

The Senior Research Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships:

  • Originate new business with new clients
  • Write detailed proposals
  • Manage client relationships
  • Prepare concise and articulate high impact reports
  • Present findings and recommendations in a convincing manner
  • Facilitate strategic planning workshops

 

Project requirements include the following:

  • Manage B2B/ B2C and industrial market research projects
  • Design quantitative survey questionnaires
  • Develop qualitative topic outlines
  • Conduct focus group and in-depth phone interviews with business executives and technical specialists
  • Build market sizing, market attractiveness and market sensitivity models
  • Conduct in-depth executive interviews
  • Access and analyze market, industry, and legislative information
  • Analyze industry value chains
  • Interpret customer and competitive insights
  • Analyze market opportunities and industry structures
  • Prepare concise and compelling reports
  • Formulate go-to-market strategies

 

Basic qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing or business
  • 2+ years’ experience in either:
    • market research, marketing communications, branding firm; or,
    • management consulting with a strategy firm; or,
    • manufacturing or business service firm where you worked in marketing, market research, or marketing strategy
  • Experience conducting or managing B2B/B2C market research projects
  • Experience in developing and managing client relationships

 Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years’ experience in market research
  • Excellent written and spoken English

This is a hands-on position involving all aspects of market research and industry analyses. The successful candidate will be ambitious and eager to play a role in the development of our research practice focused on North, South, and Central America.
